I’m Brianna (she/her), a Registered Psychotherapist + Art Therapist.

I’m also a fellow chronic pain person.

My own experience living with chronic pain led me to learning about pain science and eventually, training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy. I’m also an Art Therapist, and I’m currently training to become a Trauma-Informed Yoga Nidra Facilitator.

I believe wholeheartedly in the huge capacity of the human mind + body to heal. I bring a stance of openness and curiosity to therapy sessions, and a deep knowing that recovery and healing are not linear.

I’m really passionate about supporting people with chronic pelvic pain, because so many of the symptoms that come with this feel really taboo: pain related to sex, itching and burning sensations, bladder or bowel pain. Sometimes it doesn’t even feel like we can talk to the people closest to us about these symptoms. We need more spaces where it’s welcome and encouraged to talk about pelvic pain and discomfort. The more taboo something is, the more we need permission and invitations to talk about it.

If you’re interested in learning more about neuroplastic pain, there is so much amazing information available for free. I’ve compiled an ongoing list of resources here.

If you are curious about working together, you can reach out to me here.
